Birthday Treats and Parties |

Please check with your child’s teacher before sending birthday invitations to school. For invitations to be handed out at school, the children must have one for every child in the class or all of the boys/girls. The child should ask the teacher’s permission before distributing cards so she can make sure this is the case. NO edible birthday treats are allowed at this time. We will post a list of acceptable birthday treats once the school nurse has finished checking the classrooms for allergies. |

Student Drop-Off Procedures |

Students should not come to school before 8:30 a.m. for safety reasons as no supervision is provided outside before that time and students must remain outside. Cars are not allowed in the circle drive between 8:25 and 8:45 a.m. For the safety of all of our children, we are asking parents to drop their students off on the sidewalk, at the corner of the Jr. High parking lot and the circle drive (just to the East of the Jr. High entrance). If you are walking your child to the door, please use the new crosswalks.
Do not pass buses parked int he circle drive. It is against the law. Students who arrive after 9:40 will be considered absent for half the school day.
If your child arrives late to school, please remember to accompany them into the office to sign them in. Without your signature, tardies are considered unexcused.

In an effort to be a "greener" district, all parents in the elementary school will be the choice if they would like written communication to be given in a hard format or electronically through an e-mail. All parents are encouraged to frequently check the district web site for the most complete and updated information. |

We continue to receive data that tells us we have several wrong/disconnected phone numbers in our telephone messaging service databank through ConnectEd. This system allows us to communicate with you regarding emergency situations and/or school closings, school events, and other important issues impacting you and your children. If your phone number changes during the school year, please let us know within 24 hours, of the change so we can update your emergency contact sheet. |

If your child is not riding the bus, please make sure to write a note to the homeroom teacher. If a note is not received, the students will be placed on the bus. Only the School Office can call a student off the bus once they are loaded. |
