Field Day will be here before we know it!
Monday, May 13th at 7pm in the Cafeteria the PTC will hold a
Field Day Parent Volunteer Meeting. Any parents interested in
volunteering for Field Day should attend this meeting. We will
demonstrate the activities we'll play for Field Day. If you
cannot attend this meeting please contact Michelle Rudman

Students who ordered a Field Day shirt will receive it before Field Day.

The next meeting of the PTC is Monday, May 6th, at 7 PM in the Media Center. Smencil Day is May, 10th. Market Day Pick-up is Wednesday, May 15th. Popcorn Day is Friday, May 17th.

Interested in helping with Field Day? If so, please join us on Monday, May 13th at 7pm in the cafeteria for a Field Day Parent Volunteer Meeting.
Parents of Early Learners through 8th grade are invited. We will explain the outdoor activities scheduled for the students as well as cover our rain out plan details. For parents who do not have a current volunteer form (must complete each school year) on file, we will have these available to complete at the meeting. If you are not able to attend the meeting, but would like to volunteer, you MUST contact Michelle Rudman at

to be added to the list. Parents who are not on the volunteer list PRIOR to the event will not be able to attend. The deadline to contact Michelle is May 20th. Siblings not enrolled at Richland may not attend Field Day.

Field Day shirt orders are being processed. We anticipate distributing shirts to students the week of May 20th.

. 8th Grade Class of 2013 shirts will also be distributed the week of May 20th. Students will receive their shirts before the May 23rd field trip.

The PTC held the final meeting of the year and 4 new board members were elected. Thank you to Lisa Velez - new President; Lana Grimaldi - new Vice President; Tonie Lozano - new Secretary, and Julie Ruble - new Treasurer, for stepping up to take on these roles. Cat Pasakarnis will remain the Volunteer Coordinator.
These positions will be held for the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 school-years. These board members will take over in mid-June.

As always the PTC welcomes parents and teachers to help in any capacity. The PTC plans to have a booth at the City of Crest Hill Picnic at St. Joe's Park on August 4th. If you are able to help, even for just an hour, please contact Michelle Cipiti at
