The Internet is a wonderful resource for kids. Our students use it to research all kinds of information, collaborate with teachers and other students, and play interactive games. Students have access to up to the minute news and information - vital to their learning and growth as members of our global society.

This access can also pose hazards. That's why it's important for all of us to be aware of what kids see and hear on the Internet, who they meet, and what they share about themselves online. During the school year, we stress Internet Safety and appropriate online behavior at every opportunity. 

Just like any safety issue, it's wise to talk with your kids about your concerns, take advantage of resources to protect them, and keep a close eye on their activities.
